2008 Christmas Card ContestOfficial RulesIllustrating "Christmas in the Country" could garner a young artist a healthy check and the chance to be the official High Plains/Midwest Ag Journal Christmas card. Sept. 8 marked the official kick off of the annual Christmas Card Contest, and last year hundreds of entries were received for the 2007 contest, so be sure to get entries in quick. Whether it's with your family, at home, on the farm, in the country, or in nature-we want you to share your idea of the best Christmas gift. The contest will run through mid-October, and entries must be postmarked no later than Oct. 15. Artist age groups include: Six and under; seven to 10; and 11 to 15 years old. See complete contest rules below. The Grand prize winner will receive $250 and their artwork will become the official High Plains/Midwest Ag Journal Christmas Card. In addition, one winner will be chosen out of each age division for a prize of $100. Entry guidelines: -All entries should be postmarked on or by Oct. 15, 2008. Mail entries to: Questions?
