Firestone introduces premium skid-steer tire

Firestone Agricultural Tire Company (Firestone) has introduced the DuraForce DT, its latest premium skid-steer tire, to the light industrial market.

The DuraForce DT tire is Firestone's flagship product released under the DuraForce product line. Available in seven sizes, this tire is completely manufactured within the United States. Firestone will introduce other products in the light industrial DuraForce line later this year.

Designed specifically for skid-steer loaders and aerial lift equipment in the most demanding applications, the DuraForce DT features a new sidewall and ZT cut- and tear-resistant compounds for lasting performance. These features make this tire not only the economical choice, but also the smart choice. Other features and benefits include:

--Deep tread and extra-wide, heavily buttressed lugs for extra-long wear and extended tire life.

--New aggressive rim deflector to help keep foreign material out, protecting against rim damage and flats.

--Extra-strong shoulder that features a larger curb protector to resist snags, cuts and punctures.
