The Nebraska Wheat Board will have its next meeting Nov. 15 at the Cobblestone Inn, 2572 Progressive Rd., Seward, Neb.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. and adjourn at 8 p.m. It will include reports from Nebraska Wheat Board members, contractor reports, a review of lately received funding proposals and a list of upcoming events and travel. At 5:30 p.m. the meeting will be moved to Lincoln, Neb., as board members assist in final preparations for a Mobile Baking Lab event with the National Manufacturing division of the Total Manufacturing Company. The Nebraska Wheat Board administers the checkoff of 0.4 percent of net value of wheat marketed in Nebraska at the point of first sale. The board invests the funds in programs of international and domestic market development and improvement, policy development, research, promotion, and education.
