Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales report

Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Pratt, Kan., May 2, reported estimated receipts of 2,800 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers at 750 to 950 pounds were $4 to $6 higher, and feeder heifers at 650 to 900 pounds were $2 to $5 higher. Steers at 750 pounds and under and heifers at 650 pounds and under were not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: 66 head, 782 lbs., 139.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 136.50 to 137.25; 850 to 900 lbs., 134.00 to 137.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 127.10 to 132.35.

Feeder heifers: 650 to 700 lbs., 132.25 to 134.00, 700 to 750 lbs., 128.00 to 132.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 126.75 to 129.50, 800 to 850 lbs., 125.35 to 127.50; 850 to 900 lbs., 121.00 to 125.10.
