Field-weathered crop insight

The Climate Corporation announced the

free service is live for the growing season. Using remote sensing technologies, physical and geospatial mapping, weather simulations and proprietary agronomic models, provides growers with field-level weather monitoring and forecasting, field-specific crop insights and decision support tools to help them better manage their operations and increase their profitability.

The Climate Corporation also offers Planting Date Advisor, a new tool that quantifies spring and fall freeze risks by planting date for each field and growers can better identify an ideal planting window and evaluate the potential risk-reward of their seed relative maturity choice.

The Planting Date Advisor can calculate the risk of spring or fall freeze post emergence, cost-benefit analysis, ideal planting date based on weather technology, an assortment of moisture indicators, precipitation trackers, growth stage stracing and crop impact.
