Tama feeder cattle auction reportThe Tama Feeder Cattle Auction, Tama, Iowa reported receipt of 977 head Feb. 25, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa. This was a special preconditioned, and special calf sale. No comparison. Due to last weeks preconditioned sale being postponed, this was combined with a special calf sale this week. Trade was active. Demand was good. The supply consisted of 60.1% feeder steers, 39.9% feeder heifers, and 81.5% were over 600 pounds.
