Pratt 3 p.m. cattle auction report

The Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Pratt, Kan., March 14, reported estimated receipts of 6,000 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers in a light test at 700 to 750 pounds were $1 to $2 higher, 750 to 900 pounds were $2 to $4 lower, and 900 to 1,000 pounds were $3 to $5 lower. Feeder heifers at 600 to 700 pounds were steady to weak, 700 to 950 pounds were $2 to $4 lower with the exception of a few 750 to 800 pounds firm to $2 higher.

Feeder steers: 750 to 800 lbs., 136.00 to 137.60, 86 head, Thin Fleshed 752 lbs., 142.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 130.25 to 133.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 125.25 to 125.35; 900 to 950 lbs., 123.00 to 124.50; 950 to 1000 lbs., 122.10 to 125.85.

Feeder heifers: 76 head, 638 lbs., 139.10; 650 to 700 lbs., 132.00 to 135.75; 700 to 750 lbs., 129.00 to 133.00; 18 head, Thin Fleshed 700 lbs., 135.25; 750 to 800 lbs., 128.00 to 132.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 121.50 to 124.85; 850 to 900 lbs., 119.00 to 122.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 120.85 to 121.35.
