Gardening workshop to focus on tomatoes

The Oklahoma County Master Gardeners will hold their "Third Thursday" gardening workshop March 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the OSU Cooperative Extension Service office.

March's Third Thursday gardening workshop will focus on "Tomatoes" and will include information that can help gardeners learn to establish new, healthy plants from seeds and other propagation methods.

As part of their continuing outreach program, Master Gardeners will host a Third Thursday seminar every month throughout the coming year. April's topic will be "Perennials and Annuals," while "Pest Control" will be the focus for the May 16 Third Thursday Workshop.

All horticulture seminars and workshops taught by the Oklahoma County Master Gardeners are offered free to the public.

For a complete schedule of horticulture classes, access the Oklahoma County website at http://oces.okstate.edu/oklahoma.
