The Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Pratt, Kan., March 7, reported estimated receipts of 5,500 head, as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.
This was the first sale in two weeks, after the snowstorms, and so there were limited receipts for a comparison. Steers and heifers noted lower undertones.
Feeder heifers: 700 to 750 lbs., 133.75 to 136.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 127.50 to 130.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 124.75 to 128.60; 850 to 900 lbs., 122.50 to 126.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 119.75 to 123.00; 12 head, 1038 lbs., 118.00.
