Women in Ag program set for April 11 in Salina

Kansas

If you are a woman involved in agriculture, or are interested in learning more, plan to attend this free Women In Ag program. The program will be held April 11 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 743 E. Magnolia, Salina (across from Salina South High School). Registration begins at 6 p.m. and the program will start at 6:30 p.m.

Drinks and dessert will be served.

Mark Nelson, Kansas Farm Bureau, will speak about Crop Insurance 101. Mike Irvin, Kansas Farm Bureau, will speak about Understanding Oil and Gas Leases.

The event is sponsored by American AgCredit, Farm Service Agency, K-State Research & Extension, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Saline Co. Conservation District, Saline County Farm Bureau

Pre-registration is requested; please call the CKD Extension Office in Salina at 785-309-5850 by April 4.
