Ford County representatives attended Kansas Farm Bureau's YF&R Conference Jan. 25 to 27 in Manhattan. The Young Farmers and Ranchers, an integral part of Kansas Farm Bureau, are hard-working agriculture professionals dedicated to developing their leadership skills and empowering others to become actively involved in agriculture advocacy, promotion and education. Monte Hampton, Laci Collins, Misty Lethcho, Jessica Schwartz, Austin Vieux, Broc Ellis, Charles Blattner, Austin Wolfe, Travis Goetz, Garrett Stefan and Shannon Schwartz attended the conference.
More than 500 Farm Bureau attendees learned leadership skills, heard experts from various fields and developed life-long relationships to enhance their operations. The DCCC Collegiate Farm Bureau attendees also participated in the Quiz Bowl.
