Fence building made easier

For more than 27 years, Hotwoods of Grand Island, Neb., has been manufacturing and selling hydraulic wire winders.

The company has more than 16,000 in use worldwide. The hydraulic winder motor provides ample power for hard jobs like pulling barbed wire through tall grass but is designed to handle smooth or barbed wire or light cable. These winders are available in Category 1, 2, or 3 point mounts. They come with a removable reel that splits to unload wire. An operating valve allows operators to easily select any speed from fast down to crawl, as well as a complete stop.

The latest addition is a gas-powered wire winder. The winder has a Honda 5.5 horsepower engine. This winder can be used from the back of a pickup as well as run on the ground. The gas winder has a wire guide arm for operator safety as standard equipment. For more information, call 877-407-8645 or visit www.hotwoods.com.
