Heart of America Farm Show coming in September

Heart of America Trade Shows LLC announced the Heart of America Farm Show, taking place Sept. 20 to 22 at the Tulsa RV Ranch Arena near Beggs, Okla., about 20 miles south of Tulsa. The event will include a rodeo, cow dog demonstrations, guest speakers and a kid zone. There will also be a drawings including one for a 32-foot Red Rhino hay trailer.

The show has both indoor and outdoor booth spaces and although late September is usually a beautiful time of year, as far as the weather is concerned, to make the show a true “all weather” event, all the outdoor lanes are in the process of being graveled. Kevin Kite, the farm show director, reports that so far, the Heart of America show has attracted exhibitors from nine states. He also reports that two exhibitors have signed up as Platinum Sponsors: GoBob Pipe & Steel and Tulsa RV Ranch Arena. GoBob is a nationwide distributor of quality ranch equipment and fence materials located in Mounds, Oklahoma. Tulsa RV Ranch Arena is the facility where Heart of America Farm Show is located featuring a covered arena, an onsite restaurant and saloon, an RV park plus 160 acres. Tulsa RV Ranch Arena host events almost weekly including rodeos, chuck wagon races, concerts and much more. As Platinum sponsors they will be included in all advertising for the show including print media, radio, television, the HOA website and Facebook page. Additionally, the official tent sponsor has been selected, Joplin Tent. Joplin Tent points out that they have supplied tents for the Four State Farm Show and Ozark Fall Farmfest in the past and they are offering tent rental for the Heart of America show at lower rates than the aforementioned shows.

A major consignment auction featuring everything from crafts to farm equipment has been added to the Sept. 21 line-up.

Heart of America Trade Show Director Kevin Kite says this will be a recurring annual show featuring many vendors, booths and activities for the whole family.

“I am very excited to be a part of the Heart of America Farm Show, as I know it will become an important part of the farming industry,” Kite said. “This will be a great opportunity for people in the business to connect and share their tips for the trade.”

There will be several guest speakers at the show as well, including Director of Farm Programing for the Oklahoma Radio Network and Broadcaster Hall of Fame inductee Ron Hays, who will be on hand to deliver two topic speeches, “Rebuilding your mama cow herd,” and “Restoring drought impacted pasture.”

Also speaking will be cohost of “Hook & Hunt” radio show Steve Schiffner. He will be speaking on the topics of “Managing and improving your deer herd and turkey population” and “How to maximize your income with hunting leases.” Each of these guests will be accompanied by other professionals in the field to ensure attendees are well informed.

A meet, greet and autograph session with some of the top bull riders in America is also planned for the enjoyment of kids of all ages. A complete weekend of activities for the whole family.

Aside from listening to the speakers there will be farm equipment and other companies showcasing their products throughout the event. There are currently still booths for rent for vendors who wish to participate in the show. The early bird discounts expired July 1, but indoor and outdoor booths can still be secured for as low as $475 for a single 25’ x25’ booth if reserved by Aug. 1. For more information about renting a booth or becoming an event sponsor vendors can call 888-244-1982.
