Woodward livestock market report

The Woodward Livestock Market, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 5,665 head June 28, compared to 4,660 head last week and 3,007 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers were $2 to $4 higher. Feeder heifers were $1 to $4 higher. Steer and heifer calves in a limited test, weaned, a higher undertone was noted. Demand good for all classes. Fill average to full, end gaunt. The supply includes 94% over 600 pounds with 47% heifers.
