The birthday girl poses in her party wear!
Tuesday, July 16
After a short week-long stint in Colby, Kan., Hoffman Harvesting was unable to harvest any wheat. The dry conditions the area received made the decision for several farmers in the area. Yields held steady around the 10 to 15 bushels per acre. While a few harvesters were actually able to harvest at this stop, the campground was full more because harvesters had nowhere else to go. There weren’t any acres to pick up, and their next stop was a long way off.
While in Colby, we celebrated another special day—Kaidence’s 4th birthday! We decided to celebrate at this stop, as there were several kids to make her day extra special.
