Contemporary Wallace has space for all

A family with school age children, or those who like to have room for visiting guests, will find the contemporary style Wallace (401-52) very much to their liking. The 1,726 square feet of living space has been utilized in a manner that leaves no wasted areas.

Having the garage in front leaves plenty of room for a verdant landscape that will accent this attractive home. To the left of the raised entryway are the sleeping quarters. Two almost identical bedrooms, separated by a full bathroom for privacy, grace the long hallway. Closet space is ample, with a large window in each to filter in the sunlight. At one end of the hallway is a utility room that opens inside, allowing groceries to be brought easily in regardless of the weather, or soiled clothing to be placed by the washing machine.

At the back of the home sits the spacious master suite. A very large closet and a full bath with separate vanity are among the highlights. Access to the back deck lets you soak up the sun in privacy. A complete linen storage area runs the length of the adjacent hallway.

The great room effect is evident in the right front portion of this house design. Vaulted ceilings are everywhere, enhancing the dimensions. The living room, where folks can congregate in front of the centrally located fireplace, serves as a gathering place for family and friends to enjoy each other’s company. The handy “U” shaped kitchen, with built-ins galore, allows the cook to prepare food without having to miss any of the festivities. A garden window, perfect for a view of the front, sits above the sink. Meals may be served casually in the neighboring nook with windows on two sides or in a more formal setting in the dining room.
