CHDA debuts equine facility questionnaireFor owners and operators of multi-use facilities, the task of effective marketing and public relations never ends. Finding new and unique methods to advertise what a facility offers to the public and how it can be a good fit for upcoming events is an ongoing challenge. Now, the Colorado Horse Development Authority is offering a program to help with that effort. The CHDA is pleased to announce the launch of the Colorado Equine Facility Questionnaire. Hosted on the CHDA website, located at www.chda.org, the survey is designed to solicit general information from equine facilities throughout the state. The purpose of the project is to create a database of information that horse owners, enthusiasts, and event planners can use in coordinating equestrian-related events. Participation in the survey is completely free-of-charge. Information to be gathered includes contact information for each facility, as well as more specific details such as arena configurations, stalling information, lighting and sound availability, and other items of interest that are important for planners to become aware of. Visitors to the CHDA website will be able to search for event facilities according to several criteria, including city and facility name. Please do not pass up this opportunity to include your facility in the database. To begin, simply visit www.chda.org and click on the "Facilities Guide" link along the top of the home page. On the following page, you will then see a button on the right that you may click to add your facility. If you have any questions about the survey or the CHDA, please feel free to call 303-292-4981.
