Colorado feeder cattle summary

The Colorado Auction Feeder Cattle Summary, Greeley, Colo., reported receipts of 15,095 head Jan. 11, compared to 5,794 head three weeks ago and 21,977 head last year, according to the USDA-Colorado Department of Agriculture Market News, Greeley, Colo.

No trends were available this week as this was the first summary report of the year. Trading activity was moderate to active on moderate demand. The supply consisted of 57% steers and 43% heifers. Feeders over 600 pounds comprised 53% of the total supply.
