New insecticide registered by EPA, effective in summerFMC Corporation announced the registration of Gladiator insecticide/miticide by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Gladiator controls psyllid, leafminers and mites, said Cory Bromley, FMC associate product manager. It is uniquely formulated to be effective in the hot summer months. The combination of two chemistries in Gladiator provides quick knockdown and long-lasting residual. Gladiator is the latest addition to the FMC citrus portfolio which includes Chariot insecticide, Mustang insecticide and now, Gladiator for complete insect protection from dormancy to harvest along with Aim EC herbicide, for added burndown and weed control under trees. Gladiator is also labeled on pome fruits, stone fruits, vegetables and other crops.
