UNL cattlemen's seminars scheduledNebraska A cattlemen's seminar will be held Jan. 23 at Mulligan's in Oxford, beginning with registration at 4:30 p.m. Dinner and a copy of the proceedings will be included in the registration fee. The same program will be offered on Jan. 23 at the Fairgrounds in Franklin, beginning with registration at 10 a.m. The registration fee will include lunch and a copy of the proceedings. Producers will learn the latest information on the following: --Grazing After Drought, Doug Anderson, UNL Extension; --Feeding Cornstalks to Cows, Randy Saner, UNL Extension; --Cow Leasing Options, Brian Strauch, UNL Extension; --Economic Implications of Herd Management Decisions, Robert Tigner, UNL Extension; --External Parasites of Beef Cattle, Marty Fear, KSU Extension; and --Rations to Keep the Herd in One Piece, Michael Fisher, CSU Extension. These educational programs are part of the "Nebraska Cow-Calf Profitability Series" and are being offered by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension to beef producers.
