To help people develop more positive money management habits, the K-State University River Valley Extension District is sponsoring two educational programs in February and March. Rick Sippel of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service in Salina will be presenting tips for handling money wisely on Feb. 26 at the RVD-Clay County Extension office and repeating the program on March 11 in Concordia's courthouse meeting room. Both programs will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., are free and the public is encouraged to attend. For more information, contact the RVD Extension office in Concordia at 785-243-8185.
