Silver Bullet reduces bacteria and biofilm in animal drinking water

Silver Bullet Agricultural Services, a Denver based company that treats animal drinking water without adding chemicals, knows water is one of the most important elements in raising productive, healthy livestock. Untreated or poorly treated drinking water can carry bacteria, fungi and parasites and can cause disease or death. Diseased and unhealthy animals present a two-fold cost. The first is care. The second is the cost of lost production as unhealthy animals aren't growing or producing as rapidly as they should be.

The Silver Bullet system produces a complete biocide that has no taste or smell (chemically treated water is not palatable to animals). By drastically reducing the presence of microorganisms, animals will drink more water and remain healthy and productive. The Silver Bullet system works by using ultraviolet light and other proprietary technology to create hydrogen peroxide, a tremendous biocide. Hydrogen peroxide is much less toxic than other chemicals like chlorine, and is tasteless and odorless.

The Silver Bullet system easily retrofits into almost any animal drinking water system and takes less than a day to install. After installation, there is no ongoing maintenance other than monthly water testing. The Silver Bullet system is rented on a monthly basis, so there is no large upfront capital expenditure.

The Silver Bullet system is installed on several farms across the United States, including the McCarty Family Farms, where more than 3,000 cattle consume 95,000 gallons of water a day. Farm Operator Ken McCarty has praised Silver Bullet stating, "Silver Bullet has dramatically reduced bacteria and biofilm in our cow's drinking water, and they are thriving."
