Extension offers action plan for healthy living

Kansas

A long, healthy life doesn't just happen. Everyday choices influence quality of life. From choosing nutritious food to becoming more physically active to improving a bad habit or behavior, there are many strategies to try.

Plan to attend the free Extension program "Action Plan for Healthy Living" on Jan. 30 at noon at the Ellis County Extension Office Meeting Room, 601 Main Street in Hays. This lesson will help participants decide on an area of life they want to change and provide tools to help make that change. The guest speaker is Donna Krug, Barton County Extension Agent, FCS.

Bring a lunch to enjoy during the program if desired. Beverages will be provided. RSVP to the Ellis County Extension Office by Jan. 28 at 785-628-9430 or el@listserv.ksu.edu. A minimum attendance is needed to hold this program.
