Triple C offers Hydra Bed

Triple C, Inc. developed the flatbed bale handler concept in 1979. The company also introduced the concepts of synchronized bale gripping arms and mechanical free-float, which combine to provide positive side to side load centering and smooth, consistent bale unrolling. The Hydra Bed includes full length 6" channel frame members, 1/2" wall rear cross tube and rugged fifth-wheel and rear drop hitches, as well as the company's industry-leading two-year warranty policy.

The Hydra Bed will load, transport and feed 2 large round or square bales weighing up to 3,000 pounds each, from the comfort and safety of the truck cab. All functions are controlled with fully variable flow controls located at the operator's seat. The proven hydraulic system was developed specifically for the cold weather conditions commonly encountered during winter on the high plains. Since 1983, Hydra Bed owners all across North America have been enjoying the benefits of that dependable design during season after season of winter feeding.

Attachments are available including hydraulic cake feeders, post hole diggers and the new big square bale flaker. This compact unit quickly and easily mounts on any Hydra Bed and equips it to dispense big square bales into bunks, tire feeders or on the ground. All attachments are powered by the 11-gallons-per-minute under-hood hydraulic system that is standard equipment on every Hydra Bed.

In 2008 the Pro Spear was added to Triple C's product line. This flatbed bale handler incorporates two spears into a flush mounted lifting mechanism at the rear of the bed to lift and transport one round bale at a time. The sides of the bed are 6" tall and full-length side rails are standard equipment on every bed. The main frame of the bed is comprised of 5" channel iron and the hinge design incorporates the same hinges that have been an important feature of the HydraBed for 25 years.
