Eureka rancher Matt Perrier has been appointed by Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback to serve on the Kansas Animal Health Board. Perrier will serve a three-year term in one of the nine-member board's cow-calf/stocker positions.
Perrier works on his family's ranch, Dalebanks Angus. He manages the breeding, marketing and customer service operations for the business. Perrier graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in animal sciences and industry.
The Kansas Animal Health Board serves in an advisory role to the Kansas animal health commissioner on policies and actions affecting the livestock industry.
