The Keoco Feeder Cattle Auction, Sigourney, Iowa, reported receipts of 1,708 head Jan. 7, compared to 1,594 head last year, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa.
There was no trend as this sale was last reported three weeks ago. Trade was active with very good demand. Receipts included 64.9% over 600 lbs., 59% steers, 41% heifers.
