The Tama Feeder Cattle Auction, Tama, Iowa, Jan. 25 reported receipts of 1,567 head, according to the Iowa Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Des Moines, Iowa.
This was a special preconditioned calf sale. No comparison. Trade was active. Demand was good. The supply consisted of 56.4% feeder steers, 43.6% feeder heifers, and 87.3% were over 600 pounds.
