Colorado feeder cattle summary report

The Colorado Auction Feeder Cattle Summary, Greeley, Colo., reported receipts of 6,318 head Jan. 25, compared to 21,742 head last week and 4,645 head last year, according to the USDA-Colorado Department of Agriculture Market News, Greeley, Colo.

Compared to last week, steers at 330 to 600 pounds traded mostly $11 to $15 lower, and 600 to 900 pounds were $4 to $8 lower. There were not enough comparable sales from the previous week on heifers weighing over 750 pounds for an adequate market trend.
