Apache livestock auction reportApache Livestock Auction, Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 1,643 head Jan. 25, compared to 2,705 head last week and 2,034 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $1 to $3 lower. Steer calves were $2 to $5 higher. Heifer calves were $3 to $8 higher. Demand was moderate for feeders and good for calves. Quality was average through attractive. The supply included 61% over 600 pounds with 53% heifers.
