Kansans to meet and discuss issues during Cattle Industry Convention

Kansas

Inspirational speakers, policy development and extensive rancher-to-rancher networking are on tap for the Cattle Industry Convention, Feb. 6 to 9 in Tampa, Fla. Committee agendas will include reports from a Price Discovery Working Group, a review of confined animal feeding operation permit rules, an update on the Endangered Species Act and prospects for a new farm bill this year.

All KLA members are invited to attend the KLA Caucus on Feb. 7 at 4:15 p.m. in Meeting Room 6 at the Marriott Waterside Hotel. Attendees will have a chance to visit with fellow Kansans and get an update on issues scheduled for discussion in committee meetings. Frontier Farm Credit and Animal Health International are sponsoring the caucus.
