Oklahoma Horse Fair marks 11th year

The Oklahoma Horse Fair celebrates its 11th Anniversary in 2013, being held Feb. 8 to 10 in Duncan, Okla., at the Stephens County Fair and Expo Center.

Since it's inception, organizers have tried to bring the best the equine industry has to offer. Continued support has allowed the event to grow and continue to be a part of the equine world. The many old and new business friendships are truly appreciated.

Every year the Fair offers a new event while maintaining several mainstay events. For 2013, we've added a Ranch Bronc Ridin' to be held Feb. 10 to 25 top cowboys. The Working Cowdog Clinic and Sale was a big hit in 2012 and will be bigger and better in 2013. Offered will be an Open Trial and a Select Prospect/Finished dog auction.

Returning is the Chisholm Trail Ranch Rodeo with 2 big performances (Feb. 8 and 9 at 7 p.m.), the popular Western Trade Show, and the Oklahoma Select Horse, Mule, and Pony Sale. New in 2013 will be a select session for barrel race prospects and finished barrel horses. Limited to 25 head.
