Missouri Cattlemen to hold County Leadership Conference

Missouri

The County Leadership Conference will be held Feb. 25 to 26 at the Missouri Cattle Industry Headquarters in Columbia, Mo. Each county may send one producer to attend the Missouri Cattlemen's Association's Conference. The conference is limited to the first 25 who register by the Feb. 18 deadline.

The focus of this year CLC sessions are on how to better your county's organization by encouraging new membership and how to manage a successful meeting. A session concerning media training will allow attendees to learn important techniques about how to talk to the media about agriculture.

The second day of the training will be spent at the Capitol meeting with legislators, where you may have conversations about what they are doing for you while in office and what you would like to see done for agriculture.

Contact Mike Deering (mike@mocattle.com) or Katie Steen (katie@mocattle.com) with any questions you may have about this two-day event.
