Robert Barron receives Allied Industry award

Missouri

The Missouri Cattlemen's Association presented Robert Barron, Norbrook Inc, with the 2012-2013 Allied Industry award at MCA's 45th Annual Convention and Trade Show in Columbia, Mo.

The Allied Industry award is given to an individual who MCA can count on for support and has been a partner to the cattle industry for several years.

Barron has been involved in many scholarship banquets and has volunteered his time to cook and sponsor various county affiliate groups. Through his efforts, he has generated more than $70,000 for local scholarship awards.

"Robert's dedication to MCA and the next generation of farmers and ranchers is unparalleled," said MCA Regional Vice President Greg Buckman. "We can always count on him to be an advocate for the beef community."

Close to 400 cattlemen gathered in Columbia for the 45th annual event.
