Grain market closeThe USDA Market News Service, Greeley, Colo., in the close grain report for Feb. 19, reported in futures trading that Chicago March soft red winter wheat was $7.32 1/4, down 10 cents; March corn, $6.95 1/4, down 3 1/2 cents; March soybeans, $14.70 1/4, up 45 3/4 cents. The export bid for the direct Gulf deliver of No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, rail, $8.54 to $8.69, down 8 1/2 cents; No. 2 soft red winter wheat, barge, $8.07 1/4 to $8.10 1/4, down 10 cents; No. 2 yellow corn, barge, $7.58 1/4 to $7.64 1/4, down 3 1/2 to up 1 1/12 cents' No. 2 yellow sorghum, rail, $12.59 1/4 to $13.13, down 6 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow sorghum, barge, $12.77 1/4 to $13.21 3/4, down 6 1/4 cents; No. 2 yellow soybeans, barge, $15.46 1/4 to $15.50 1/4, up 45 3/4 to 43 3/4 cents. Colby, Kansas unit train wheat bid was $7.11. In Denver and the surround area, hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, was $7.14 to $7.89. No. 1 hard red winter wheat, ordinary protein, northwest Colorado was mostly 9 cents lower. In north central Colorado, wheat was $7.14 to $7.59. In northeast Colorado, wheat was $6.95 to $7.21. In east central Colorado, wheat was $7.04 to $7.19. In southeast Colorado, wheat was $7.01 to $7.34. In south central Colorado, wheat was $6.33. In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, wheat bids were $7.07 to $7.24. No. 2 yellow corn in north central Colorado was 4 cents lower and $6.87 to $7.25 per bushel. In northeast Colorado, the country elevator corn bids were $6.83 to $7.12. In east central Colorado, corn was $7 to $7.07. In southeast Colorado, corn was $7.28 to $7.33. In southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming, corn bids were $6.82 to $6.95. No. 2 yellow sorghum in southeast Colorado was 8 cents lower at $11.96 to $12.05 per cwt. No. 1 yellow soybeans in southwest Nebraska were 45 cents higher at $14.04 to $14.15 per bushel. White millet in Colorado, southwest Nebraska and southeast Wyoming was $38 to $41 per cwt. Sunflowers were mostly $40 cwt. In Denver and surrounding areas, corn was $6.87 to $7.25 per bushel. Barley was steady at $13. In northeast Colorado and Nebraska, pinto beans were $33. In North Dakota and Minnesota, pinto beans were 32. In North Dakota and Minnesota, black beans, no bid. Great Northerns were steady at $42 in northeast Colorado and Nebraska. In North Dakota and Minnesota, navy beans were steady $30. In northeast Colorado and Nebraska, light red kidneys were steady at $50. In North Dakota and Minnesota, light red kidneys had not bids.
