Gardening class series set

Have you wanted to grow a garden, but didn't know where to start? The Cleveland County Master Gardeners will be presenting a series of basic "how to garden" workshops on Saturday mornings during the month of March. The series is designed for those have the urge, but have never had the opportunity to learn about gardening. Each session will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds Meeting Room C. Series topics and dates are:

March 9--Planning/Creating Garden Space;

March 16--Soil Preparation/Planting;

March 23--Flowers and Vegetables (includes a tour of the demo garden); and

March 30--Maintaining the Garden.
