Chickasha FFA Reporter

Chickasha FFA officers presented the Chickasha Public School Board Members with a certificate of appreciation and a gift to honor National School Board Recognition Month on Jan. 14 during the January school board meeting. This year's theme--School Boards Make A World of Difference--reflects the efforts of the thousand men and women who help to shape the direction of Oklahoma public education. Their commitment to service and public education affects the present and future lives of the children of our community.

As an organization within the Chickasha public school system, we would like to thank the Chickasha School Board for their contribution to the success of Chickasha FFA. We realize the FFA chapter would not be able to be the chapter that it is without their support.

Those presenting and receiving the certificates were Chickasha FFA Chapter Advisor Chancer McPherson, Chapter President Jake Grossnickalus, Chapter Reporter Sam Allen, Chickasha Public School Board members Karen Horn, Julie Hibbard, Dr. Bruce Storms, and Ted Bingham, Chapter Treasurer Bailey Bryan, Chapter Vice-President Hannah Nelson, Chapter Sentinel Clay Allen; and Chickasha FFA Chapter Advisor Malinda McPherson. Scott Williams, Chickasha Public School Board member, was also given a certificate but was unable to attend.
