Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Pratt, Kan., Feb. 14, reported estimated receipts of 3,000 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.
Compared with last week, feeder steers at 700 to 750 pounds were $1 to $3 lower, and 750 to 1,000 pounds were $5 to $7 lower. Heifers at 700 to 900 pounds were $4 to $7 lower. Steers and heifers weighing 700 pounds and under were not enough for a market test as of 3 p.m.
Feeder steers: 700 to 750 lbs., 141.00 to 143.50; 750 to 800 lbs., 134.10 to 135.00, 7 head, Thin Fleshed 763 lbs., 138.00; 800 to 850 lbs., 132.35 to 135.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 131.00 to 134.50; 900 to 950 lbs., 128.00 to 129.75; 950 to 1000 lbs., 129.10 to 131.85; 14 head 1015 lbs., 127.25.
Feeder heifers: 600 to 650 lbs., 136.50 to 137.00; 12 head, 673 lbs., 134.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 130.00 to 130.75; 750 to 800 lbs., 129.10 to 130.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 128.25 to 129.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 125.50 to 126.75.
