Ericson livestock auction reportThe Ericson Livestock Auction, Ericson, Neb., reported receipts of 3,945 head Feb. 9, compared to 4,810 head last week and 5,180 head last year, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Kearney, Neb. Compared to last week, steers and heifers both traded steady to $5 lower. Demand was active from a smaller crowd of buyers on the seats. The supply included 68% steers and 32% heifers with 68% weighing over 600 pounds.
