2013 Chemical Weed Control Guide availableBy David G. Hallauer Meadowlark Extension District Agent Annually, Kansas State University Extension weed scientists pore over research data, labels, and new product information to assemble our Chemical Weed Control publication. Our shipment just arrived in our offices recently. If you raise field crops or forages, this publication is almost a "must have." Charts cross-referencing the efficacy of particular products against certain weeds are included, as are herbicide cost estimate tables and even application and nozzle selection information. Specific label information and rate suggestions are also included by product for each crop. Forage growers with any weed and brush control challenges can also benefit from the sections on noxious weeds and tree and brush management. Copies are available in your District Extension Office for you to pick up.
