Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales reportThe Pratt Livestock Feeder Cattle Auction, Pratt, Kan., Feb. 7, reported estimated receipts of 3,000 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers at 550 to 650 pounds were steady to firm, and 700 to 1,050 pounds were $1 to $2 lower. Heifers at 600 to 750 pounds were steady, 750 to 900 pounds were $1 to $3 lower, and a few at 900 to 950 pounds were steady. Steers at 550 pounds and under and heifers at 600 pounds and under were not enough for a market test as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers: 550 to 600 lbs., 162.00 to 170.00; 23 head, Thin Fleshed 613 lbs., 168.00; 650 to 700 lbs., 152.00 to 154.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 145.00 to 145.85; 750 to 800 lbs., 142.85 to 144.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 139.10 to 144.35; 850 to 900 lbs., 137.10 to 138.10; 900 to 950 lbs., 131.75 to 136.75; 1000 to 1050 lbs., 129.75 to 130.60.
