High Plains weighted average direct slaughter cattle sales for the week ending Feb. 3, totaled 89,344 head, compared to 97,135 head last week and 121,752 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.
The report was based on sales in Texas, Oklahoma, News Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Minnesota feedlots.
