Webinar to cover free trade business rules

Whether you are in business within the international market or a firm looking to enter the international market, this webinar is designed for you. Understanding the rules and intricacies of a Free Trade Agreement will assist you in taking advantage of eliminated barriers and preventing errors that may result in severe penalties.

Kansas Global Trade Services, Inc. will be hosting a webinar on Feb. 20 from noon to 1:15 p.m. on "How to Benefit from a Free Trade Agreement."

A Free Trade Agreement is a trade agreement in which tariffs and non-tariff barriers are eliminated or reduced significantly. Currently the United States has FTAs in force with 19 countries. One example of a Free Trade Agreement that may benefit you is NAFTA. NAFTA is the largest free trade agreement between the United States, Mexico, and Canada. NAFTA provides for the entry of goods duty-free into each of the countries provided that the goods meet the strict rules of origin in the agreement. Learn more about how you can benefit from a FTA and register today.

The cost is $150 for non-members and $125 for Kansas Global Members.
