Stout Center matching donation program valid until the end of this year
Funds are still needed to complete the Stout Center at Kansas State University. In an effort to encourage donations, one individual has agreed to match every dollar contributed toward the center before the end of this year up to $200,000.
Those interested in making a tax-deductible gift to the project before the end of the year have several options. Donations to the Stout Center can be made through the Kansas Livestock Foundation by calling 785-273-5115 or K-State’s Livestock and Meat Industry Council at 785-532-1227.
Named for the late livestock auctioneer Stanley E. Stout, the center is located just north of the K-State Purebred Unit, across Kimball Avenue, and on the same property as the K-State Equine Center.
More than 600 were in attendance earlier this year when the Stout Center was dedicated. The dedication preceded the first Legacy Sale in the livestock marketing and education facility.
