Triple C offers hydraulic options for Hydra Bed
Triple C, Inc., developed the flatbed bale handler concept in 1979. The company also introduced the concepts of synchronized bale gripping arms and mechanical free-float, which combine to provide positive side-to-side load centering and smooth, consistent bale unrolling. The Hydra Bed includes full length 6” channel frame members, 1/2” wall rear cross tube and rugged fifth-wheel and rear drop hitches, as well as the company’s industry-leading two-year warranty.
Hydra Bed owners now have several hydraulic system options to choose from. All functions are controlled with fully variable flow controls located at the operator’s seat. This system provides the operator maximum load control, speed (4 second load time) and dependability.
An 11-gallon-per minute, engine-driven corded pendant or wireless remote controlled solenoid valve is another option available for the operator who prefers push button controls and controlling the bed from outside the cab of his truck. The newest option is a 12-volt self-contained pump controlled by a corded pendant or wireless remote. This option normally appeals to the customer who trades trucks often and does not want to incur the expense associated with under-the-hood hydraulics. The bed will not operate at the same speed available with the engine-driven pump.
Attachments available include hydraulic cake feeders, a two cubic yard dump box, post hole diggers and the new big square bale flaker. This compact unit quickly and easily mounts on any Hydra Bed and equips it to dispense big square bales into bunks, tire feeders or on the ground. All attachments are powered by the 11-gallon-per-minute under-hood hydraulic system that is standard equipment on every Hydra Bed.
