Small extinguisher produces big results

It may be roughly 12-by-3 inches, but the STOP-FYRE fire extinguisher is packed with technology and firefighting experience.

The extinguisher is filled with more than a proprietary blend of liquefied gases. A standard, dry chemical fire extinguishers must be stored upright, shaken monthly, and serviced annually.

Even the 10-pounder is bulky (roughly 20-by-8 inches), heavy (roughly 17 pounds), and requires a direct shot at the base of the fire – something you cannot always see. The aftermath from a dry chemical extinguisher can be messy and costly – the chemicals corrode electronics and metals.

STOP-FYRE does not need monthly service. STOP-FYRE uses a gas that expands when you spray it. It finds the fire and fights it. And you can use it multiple times.”
