Expansion planned for 2012 Tulsa Farm Show

Now in its 19th year, the Tulsa Farm Show at the QuikTrip Center has become the premier farm show in Oklahoma. The upper level of the QuikTrip Center was completely sold out in 2011, with over 300 companies filling the 300,000 square foot space with agricultural products and services. As one of the largest clear-span buildings in the World, the QuikTrip Center at the Tulsa Expo Square has proven itself to be an excellent facility for hosting a farm equipment event.

Plans for the 19th annual event, Dec. 6, 7 and 8, include expansion to the lower east end of the facility, which provides 150,000 square feet of additional space for new exhibitors and displays. New media partner RFD TV will be anchoring the space with live broadcasts to its national audience. Additionally, a new $1,000 ShowBucks drawing will be held daily in the lower east end, giving attendees the opportunity to win cash to spend with companies at the Show.

"We are blessed with an incredible facility in the Quik Trip Center and the popularity of the show has made a move into the lower east end of the facility a logical step," said Show Director Ron Bormaster. "At 450,000 total square feet, the Tulsa Farm Show is expected to be one of the largest events of its kind in the United States," he added.

In 2011, over 30,000 people attended the three-day event, which presents all of the latest in farm and ranch products and services. Additional show events include: Craig Cameron's gentle horse training clinics, livestock equipment demos, livestock handling skills scholarship competition, private treaty bull sale, and multiple drawings to win equipment and services.

The Tulsa Farm Show is presented by FarmShows USA, a division of Midwest Shows, Inc. and producer of seven annual agricultural tradeshows hosted in Peoria, Illinois; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Vermillion, South Dakota; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Cedar Falls, Iowa; and Oklahoma City.
