WKMA scholarships still available


WKMA scholarships remain available for the 2012-2013 school year at Colby Community College, Dodge City Community College, North Central Kansas Technical College, Northwest Kansas Technical School, Seward County Community College/Area Tech School, Fort Hays State University and Kansas State University. If you know a western Kansas high school graduate attending one of the above-mentioned institutions, let them know about these funds.

Freshman students residing in and graduating from a high school in western Kansas are eligible for these scholarships with preference given to those enrolling in Industrial Engineer¬­ing, Pre-Engineering or Business Administration. Applications should be made directly through the individual school's financial aid or scholarship department.

Funds to provide the scholarships are raised each year by the sale of the 3i Show belt buckle. Each year, a limited edition 3i Show commemorative buckle is designed and sold to provide funding for the following year's scholarships. The 2012 buckles as well as buckles from past years are available from the WKMA office by calling 620-227-8082 or online at
