K-State Horse Care 101 set for Nov. 17Mark your calendar now for Nov. 17, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for Horse Care 101 at the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Manhattan, Kan. Don't miss this clinic, especially if you have youth involved in 4-H, FFA, rodeo or kids that just love horses. First-time horse owners will also benefit greatly from this seminar. Speakers include: --Dr. Tom Lenz of the Unwanted Horse Coalition; --Horse Behaviorist & Nutritionist, Dr. Randy Raub; and --Equine Management presentation by Dr. Chris Blevins, DVM.
