AQHA Professional Horsemen to teach clinics at novice championships

Aside from a lineup of prizes, glory and fame at the inaugural AQHA Novice championship shows, held Oct. 5 to 7, exhibitors will be treated to free Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen.

The SmartPak West AQHA Novice Championship Show in Las Vegas will feature a reining clinic taught by Trent Pedersen of Eagle Point, Ore.; horsemanship and hunt seat equitation clinics taught by Holly Hover of Cave Creek, Ariz.; and a trail clinic with Tim "The Trail Man" Kimura of Reedley, Calif.

In Murfreesboro, Tenn., the Nutrena East AQHA Novice Championship Show will feature a pole bending clinic taught by Team Wrangler Member Jerry Barrett of Winslow, Ind.; a horsemanship and hunt seat equitation clinic taught by April and Casey Devitt of Waddy, Ky.; and a trail clinic taught by Ryan Cottingim of New Albany, Ind.

A schedule of Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics from the Novice championships can be found at www.aqha.com/novicechampionships.

The first Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics debuted at the 2011 AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.

This year, in addition to the clinics offered at the Novice championships, Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics will be offered at four AQHA world championship shows: AQHA Corporate Partner Nutrena will sponsor Ride the Rail/Ride the Pattern clinics at the 2012 Built Ford Tough AQHYA, Adequan Select, Bank of America Amateur and FedEx Open world shows.
