Fund created for KCGA executive director Jere White

Jere White, executive director of the Kansas Corn Growers Association, Kansas Corn Commission, and the Kansas Grain Sorghum Producers Association, remains hospitalized at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. White is recovering from severe head injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident on Sept. 28 in northwest Arkansas.

A fund has been created to help his family with expenses related to his hospitalization. Donations to the fund can be sent to Jere White Fund, c/o Bank of Greeley, PO Box 80, Greeley, Kansas 66033.

Cards for White and his family can be sent to the association office addressed to Jere White, KCGA/KGSPA, PO Box 446, Garnett, KS 66032.

White is well known for his work to preserve atrazine as a viable tool for Kansas farmers and his work to promote ethanol as a renewable fuel.
